10+ private camps run. Wrestlers from across the country.
When One Day of the Right Work Changes the Next Six Months.
A private camp is for wrestlers who need focused, individual work. The kind of work that doesn't happen in a group session, doesn't happen at a club practice, and doesn't happen on YouTube.
Some wrestlers come for technique they can't get fixed anywhere else. They've drilled the same shot a thousand times and it's still getting countered. The club coach can spot it in passing but doesn't have time in a group session to actually fix it. We have six hours.
Some come for a strength and conditioning audit. They've been training hard but the numbers aren't moving and the third period is still falling apart. We pull the system apart, see what's actually broken, and rebuild it with a plan they can run when they get home.
Some come for both. Wrestling in the morning. S&C in the afternoon. The full system installed in one day.
Some come because they're preparing for something specific. A state tournament. Nationals. A trip overseas. A last college season. They want a coach who can see what's there, what's missing, and what to spend the last weeks working on.
Wrestlers come from across the country for this. Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and farther. Some come once and use what they learn for years. Others come back for a second day later in the season. Both work.
Three Ways to Run the Day.
Every private camp is built around what your wrestler actually needs. You pick the focus when you apply. We refine it on the consult call before any dates get locked.
ALL WRESTLING
Two three-hour sessions of pure wrestling instruction. Position work, technique, scrambles, situational drilling. Built around the holes your wrestler actually has. The kind of one-on-one technical attention nobody gets in a club practice.
WRESTLING + S&C
One three-hour wrestling session. One three-hour strength and conditioning session. The full Champion's Path framework installed in one day. Most wrestlers who come for the first time pick this. It's the highest value setup if your wrestler hasn't trained with me before.
ALL STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Two three-hour S&C sessions. Movement assessment, programming audit, benchmark testing, lift coaching, conditioning protocol. We pull apart what your wrestler is doing now and build a plan he can take home. Best for parents who handle their own programming and want a CSCS to look at the work.
How the Day Runs.
Opening
The Plan
Before we start, we sit down. I review the application, ask the questions I still have, and lay out what we're going to spend the day on. Your wrestler hears the plan from me directly. Whatever we work on, he knows why.
Session 1
Three Hours
Whatever the focus is, we go to work. If it's wrestling, we're on the mat. If it's S&C, we're in the gym. Three hours of direct coaching, which is more focused attention than your wrestler will get in a month at most clubs.
Lunch
One Hour
Real break. Eat. Hydrate. Reset. We talk about what just happened. Your wrestler asks questions. I tell him what I'm seeing.
Session 2
Three Hours
We go again. Sometimes it's the same focus, deeper. Sometimes it's the second focus we picked. Either way, the second session is where the day really lands. The body learns from repetition. Three hours in the morning plus three hours in the afternoon installs more than six hours straight ever could.

What You Take Home
Before we wrap, I send your wrestler home with what we worked on. The drills, the standards, the programming, the corrections. So the work doesn't end when the day ends.
What One Day Can Actually Do.
SIX HOURS OF DIRECT COACHING
More one-on-one coaching attention than most wrestlers get in three months at a club. Every rep watched. Every correction made. Every question answered. The kind of access that's normally reserved for APEX clients.
THE COACH'S EYE ON HIS WORK
I see what twenty years of coaching wrestlers lets me see. The hip that's a quarter-second slow. The squat that's grooved wrong. The shot setup that's going to get countered at the next level. We name it. We fix it. He goes home knowing.
A PLAN HE CAN RUN AT HOME
Whatever we work on goes home with him. Drills, standards, programming, corrections. The day isn't a one-off experience. It's the start of a new training plan that lives long after camp ends.
A REAL ASSESSMENT
At the end of the day, we know exactly where your wrestler is. Strength numbers. Conditioning markers. Movement quality. Wrestling holes. You leave with a clear picture of what's good, what needs work, and what to do next. Most wrestling parents have never had this.
Sometimes One Day Isn't Enough.
A single day moves the needle. Multiple days build something different.
Two-day camps let us spend the first day diagnosing and the second day rebuilding. The first day is data collection. The second day is correction. The wrestler leaves with technique reps already in the body, not just in the notebook.
Three-day camps and longer are for wrestlers preparing for something specific. A state run. A national tournament. A college recruiting window. The longer the camp, the more the work compounds. By day three, the changes start sticking.
Pricing is straightforward. Each day is $597. No multi-day discount, no package deal. The price reflects the time, and the time is the value.
We figure out the right length on the consult call. Most wrestlers come for one day. Some come for two. A few come for three or more. There's no wrong answer.
The Quotes.
Coach was able to improve my skillset, which I will use as a college athlete and in life as well.

Dane thank you so much for the opportunity yesterday to train alongside the boys. We would not trade it for the world. We have been talking about yesterday nonstop!

Getting Here and Staying Here.
The gym is in Sparta, Tennessee. About 90 minutes east of Nashville. Most families fly into Nashville (BNA), rent a car, and drive in.
Lodging is easy. Sparta has a few hotels. Cookeville is 25 minutes away with more options. Airbnbs in the area are plentiful and reasonable. I don't make hotel recommendations because I'd rather not steer where families stay. Once you're booked for a camp, I'll send a list of nearby options if you want them.
Food, gear, and gym access are all handled the day of camp. Bring wrestling gear, training clothes for the S&C session, water, snacks, and a notebook. We feed lunch.

Who You're Working With.
I'm Dane Whitted. I've been coaching wrestling since 2008. I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS), a National CrossFit Champion, a US Army combat veteran, and a NASM Certified Fitness Trainer.
The athletes I'm known for are my own. Andrew and Alexander, my twin sons, are multi-time Tennessee state champions. Ayla Sahin, who trains with me remotely from Germany, won silver at the U17 World Championships last year.
A private camp is the most direct version of my coaching anyone can get. No app, no remote, no group. Six hours, one wrestler, my full attention.
