How Champion's Path Was Built

Dane Whitted has been in wrestling rooms since 2008. Through his time coaching at the high school, college, and youth levels, he refined a strength and conditioning approach built around what wrestling actually demands — not what looks good on a program template.
When his twin sons, Andrew and Alexander, started wrestling at age 8, they were outmatched. Kids who had been competing for years had skills they were still learning. But Dane had spent 15 years developing a system that he knew worked. He applied it — carefully, progressively — to two kids who were behind the curve.
By year four, Andrew and Alexander were Tennessee State Champions — defeating opponents with 200+ more matches of experience. Year-round wrestlers who had been competing since kindergarten. The difference wasn't talent. It was the system.
That result, combined with athlete Ayla Sahin's U17 World Championship silver medal, proved what Dane had always believed: the right system, applied consistently, produces elite athletes. Champion's Path exists to give every serious wrestler access to that system.

What I Believe
The System Is Everything
Talent is real, but talent without a system plateaus. Athletes who train with structure, purpose, and progression outlast and outperform those who just work hard.
The Work Builds the Person
Every hard workout is a deposit. Discipline, resilience, mental toughness — they're built rep by rep. The physical changes are a side effect of who your wrestler is becoming.
Meet Them Where They Are
A great system scales. Elite programming isn't just for elite athletes. The right approach, applied at the right level, produces results at every level.
Fathers Are Coaches Too
One of the most powerful advantages a wrestler can have is a father who understands the system and reinforces it at home. That's why I built the Father-Son Camp.
